Synopsis

In modern Japan, rental services offer you a companion for an afternoon, a pretend boyfriend or girlfriend included! When Kazuya, a down-on-his-luck college freshman, gets heartbroken by his girlfriend, he ends up renting a girlfriend out of desperation. However, he soon realizes that renting emotional connections can be tricky, especially when his new girlfriend, who’s trying to hide her side job, finds out that her life and Kazuya’s are unexpectedly linked! As Kazuya deals with family issues, school troubles, and other complications, he also grapples with his complicated relationship with his new girlfriend. This is a fun, modern romance comic about a sweet but naive boy and a cute but tough girl navigating love in the 21st century!
