Hey everyone, with Sakamoto Days now in its “final battle arc” as of August, I’ve been looking for action manga that are still flying under the radar but bringing quality.
Here are some that I think deserve more love:

Kagurabachi — Dark fantasy, brutal fights, great sword-magic stuff. Started September 2023, 8 volumes so far.

Rosen Garten Saga — Mixes dark comedy with action, good pacing, surprisingly deep for what some assume is just “fan-service / ecchi + battles”. 13 volumes in as of mid-2025.

A-Do — Sci-fi action, perhaps less talked about outside seinen circles; its art + story have been steadily strong.
What action manga have you discovered lately that are underrated? Especially ones still ongoing, or ones that have recently done something cool (major arc, plot twist, power upgrade, etc.). I want stuff that doesn’t rely only on shonen tropes but does them well.
